A Maxi Dress Re-Imagined

In NYC, we casually stop to lean on brick walls from block to block. True story.

Moto Jacket c/o Simply Be | Dress, ASOS Curve (old but similar here) | Lashed Out Pendant Necklace, Bauble Bar | Aster Cut out Ankle Booties, Long Tall Sally

As much as I love new clothes and and I do mean love, it’s nice to sort through your wardrobe and re-imagine pieces that you haven’t worn in a while. I purchased this maxi dress from ASOS Curve a few years back and it’s seen a beach day, bbq and child of my boyfriend’s friends birthday party (troubling that I remember exactly where I wore this…but let’s keep going) yet, I’ve never worn it in cooler temps or just because.

As I reintroduce color back into my life – (winter was quite neutral wasn’t it?) I’m falling back in love with navy and remembering how much I love a fem dress with a bit of bad ass. I’m also in my new favorite booties from my friends at Long Tall Sally, who make shoes for us big foot gals. Thank God for that right? Strapping tennis rackets to my feet isn’t my ideal sporty luxe look!
