A Leopard Print Jacket

Letting the animal out, raaaaaaawhr

For some of my newer readers, you might not remember this but for those of you who have been with me for a while you know…I had a serious animal print addiction. Like people in my life were about to stage an intervention.

It’s been a while since I let the animal out (Update: I just looked at my instagram and saw leopard booties and a leopard bathing suit in the last few weeks, Ha!!) but, it’s still one of my favorite prints. So when Ashley Stewart asked me to take a few pieces from their online store for a test drive I knew immediately that I needed this long line blazer.  One of my other favorites is a great faux leather tank with a slight peplum. I’m sure you’ll see that on the blog soon.

What’s great about this jacket is the texture, it’s sort of a pony feel and the coloring. Not all animal prints are created equally…some are definitely more chic than others and this one hits the mark for me.

A few other pieces from the “New In” section that I think are pretty cute are this printed skirt, this geometric sheath dress (I might have it shortened just a bit or taken in around the knee – small alterations tailor your clothes perfectly and they look that much more rich), this envelope hem dress and these mosaic print ankle pants (love!).

Sometimes you have to act like a dork because it’s fun.

  1. I love the jacket but there is no link to it on the Ashley Stewart site. I looked through all the jackets and it is not there. How can I buy it?
