Pink Studded Moto

Just call me pink lady.

Jacket: Nicolette Moto Jacket c/o MYNT 1792, Top and Pants: Simply Be, Clutch: Lauren Merkin, Necklace: Bauble Bar, Nude Pumps

This is one of my current favorite pallets. Pinks, blush colors, nudes…Not the easiest to find in plus sizes but I’ve been acquiring a small collection of pieces that I love in these colors. My jacket of course is from the MYNT 1792 Blogger Collection, moto designed by babe Nicolette Mason.

It’s funny, having spent the last year and a half cringing at the sight of any peplum…not because I don’t like the style but because it’s been so over done, used, worn and quickly became the boot cut jean of tops in my mind (you know, the one acceptable “flattering” style that all big chicks are supposed to wear). My defiant style couldn’t handle it.

I’ve moved past that and decided this one is ok. Just this one. If it becomes a habit, somebody smack me. K, thanks!

  1. You look gorgeous. Lol @ peplum being played out. I just got my first peplum style jacket and have been wearing it non stop for a week…..

I recently bought this jacket and am always on the look-out for Mynt1792's posts of how other ladies have styled it. I love how you kept it light with the nudes and blushes. It looks so sweet and dreamy here but still completely chic. <3

  3. I cannot agree more about the peplum!! That is my exact feelings, I just couldn't explain it correctly!! But this one is definitely an exception, it works so well with the outfit and as you were saying, the colour palette isn't always the easiest to track down in plus.

  4. Ok, well I'm obsessed with this look. I guess the news about peplum and big girls didn't get to me. I've actually had someone comment on my blog that it didn't look right on curvy gals. Whatever, I'm a fan. I have a small collection, and it's still growing. I think this top looks great on you! But so does everything you wear.

  5. I am just obsessed with this outfit! OMG favourite, all time favourite actually! So perf and so simply at the same time x

  6. Hi there – this was just a super old wash and go that I braided one night and tried to detangle lol i have no idea how to recreate it 🙁
