ASOS Curve Dress worn as a Top, Leather Midi Skirt c/o Simply Be, Necklace: Bauble Bar
Happy Sunday! (boohoo, it’s nearly over) It’s been a long but fantastic week. I realized this week that even though I have a pretty robust wardrobe, I’m definitely lacking in tops. I don’t think it’s because I’m not “trying” or that I’m interested in walking around topless…I just can’t ever find tops that wow me. My goal is to be wowed when making purchases these days rather than settling for things I don’t love out of sheer necessity. So when I was looking to take my new awesome leatherette midi for a whirl and putting a little thought into how I wanted to wear it, it hit me – I have a seriously under developed collection of tops. Arg! How is this possible?
I love remixing my wardrobe and figuring out multiple uses for pieces and hence, this ASOS Curve shift dress became a shirt.

Your hair is everything
Did you have a problem with the dress slipping down love? I have tried this exact thing and I folded it under but it kept slipping down so it was visible under my skirt lol. You look gorgeous as per my love xx
Hi babe, I didn't because the skirt is longer than the dress.
Aww thanks 🙂
Ditto on the tops! I keep complaining and trying to force myself to hit my sewing machine but as a self professed dress whore, tops just lack the passion….
LOVE this outfit lady…your last few posts are making me forget about winter blues!!
Tops are my kryptonite too…. Not enouth so using to dress as a top is a great idea!

I am the opposite. I always have more tops than bottoms. However I just revamped my wardrobe and got rid of most of my old clothes. I now only purchase items that I am in love with and it makes all the difference in the world when it comes time to get dressed. I love my closet now!
that's a good way to go!
thanks!
i wish i could sew! and thank you 🙂
Skirt was longer than the dress 🙂
