Silk and cashmere and lace, oh my!

As much as I love clean lines, I’m also a big fan of special details. I always joke that in my next life I want to be a minimalist because I’m so attracted to that aesthetic both in fashion and home decor but true to Sagittarius form, I love so many things including the ornate sooo there goes that whole minimal thing.

Anyhoo, I’m wearing a new sweater sent to me from Jean Marc Philippe (I gave the amazing sleeveless blazer from the Big Beauty collection created by Stephanie Zwicky a try). I love the lace details on the shoulder and there is a super sweet zipper and lace detail on the back.

My skirt is on of my favorites from my wardrobe from Ports 1961 (it’s a size 12 – I’m very much not…as always it pays to try things on that might work for you). This skirt has proven to be so versatile! I can tuck the embroidered hem for a totally different look or, wear it as seen here and enjoy the gorgeous details of the skirt.
