Plaid Scarf

Giant coat, giant scarf…I submit.

Coat: Vintage (similar), Scarf: Zara, Green Maxi c/o Simply Be, Clutch: Lauren Merkin

It’s not even winter yet and this freezing, precipitous ass weather is already driving me crazy. I seriously hope we don’t have 3-4 months of this. I’ve been trying my best to stay motivated and not give into jeans, boots and a puffer coat. That’s a bit of a soul crushing outfit for me but in the northeast it becomes a necessity. For now, I’m still about creative winter dressing. For now… *brrrrrr*

  1. I can so relate to the "soul crushing" feeling of winter dressing. I live north of Boston and it;'s so bloody cold and snowy. I gaze longingly at all my lovlies in my closet and pull out the big-assed boots and puffer coat, smash my hair down with a hat and go out and scrape the ice off my car…all the while my seriously gorgeous little grey suede flats are calling my name….

  2. I commend you for staying on this long. As soon as I feel nip outside my Eddie Bauer coat is on. It has to be the least flattering coat I own. It just never looks nice but it's so warm….so so warm. I need fun coats or something to get their through this. Yet, it was like 70 today in DC. This weather is so damn fickle, beyond annoying.

Black and White Florals

Black, white, florals, stripes, laser cuts, pale pink…it’s all in there.  That just totally reminded me of those old spaghetti sauce commercials – it’s all
