Baby It’s Cold Outside

When the city you live in suddenly becomes a place where polar bears could easily roam freely, what the heck do you wear?

Going outside yesterday felt a little bit like a suicide mission. It’s freeeeeeezing in NYC but hey, a girl’s got things to do! The practical need to bundle up doesn’t always produce inspired dressing but my goal is to make it through impending doom I mean winter, with my personal style still in tact.

This year, I didn’t pretend that I live in Miami and avoid seeking out warm weather accessories. I faced the facts and made a plan for getting dressed. Fun hats, scarves, great layering pieces are all in my arsenal for surviving the frigid temps in style.

  1. it's an oversized coat, if you want it to look the way it does on me, order your true size. if you want it more fitted, size down.
