Pastels with a Pop

I’ve been having more than a little bit of fun with pastel/nude tones lately. From my clothes to my bedding to my nails, my entire life feels like some shade of blushy, pale gray, minty, nude happiness. It’s not even a conscious decision really but, I notice that I keep adding a bright or deep accent color to pop my pastels lately. Kind of into it.

STYLE TIP: A great way to add interest to an outfit with all pale shade pieces is with texture, like these great textured pants. I also played up the texture with my patent quilted clutch.

  1. You look great! Weeks back I won your Simply Be giveaway and I used the my winning to get those very same pants. They are awesome! Love your blog.

  2. The geometric theme throughout the outfit is ingenious. You look amazing; the pants are the real gem here to me. They look and fit beautifully! The clutch is a nice deep, complementary pop of cherry goodness. Brilliant!
