{weekend wear} A Few of My Favorite Things

It’s funny, when getting dressed sometimes it isn’t until taking a look back at the photos that I realize what I’ve done. Uploading these images made me realize that I’ve managed to wear almost all of my favorite things at once.

One outfit containing black/white, neon (nope, I’m not over it…sue me!), electric blue, a leather jacket, Rebecca Minkoff and red lips… I guess that’s what weekends are for? Doing exactly what you want to do!

These neon ankle zip jeans are from Lane Bryant. These babies came into my life a few weeks ago when I hosted the re-opening of the Harlem location… obsessed with these pants! I have black (you’ve seen them here), olive and am thinking I need them in every other available color (there were quite a few). I also scored this spiked necklace (check out a similar option) at the event and am wearing it as a bracelet.

  1. You look great! I wish I would look half as good. When I attempt to dress nice, it seems to me that I always look like a slob. So I just end up sitting around in sweats and tee shirts! I wish someone would help me.

    1. Hi I know what you mean it can be hard so maybe you should start small, wearing one thing that's different and incorporating that into your usual style of dress. Then it will not seem like such a big change. You can do it, good luck x

  2. Gurl, you are giving me so much inspiration, it's ridic. In a bad way, cause I gotta go buy a shirt to replicate this look. Dammit.
