Tadashi Shoji Spring 2013

It’s no secret than there aren’t many high end designers who create evening wear that cater to the plus market. Working in an industry where evening wear is often required, I’ve been a long time fan of the Tadashi label. Runway shows can be fun (in a way…) but checking out a show where there is actually a possibility that you will be able to wear the clothes is fantastic.

This collection should have been called loads of lace! I mean, gorgeous lace dress one after another…brights, whites and black, it was all in there. Here are a few of my favs! Hopefully some of these more youthful, progressive styles make it into the plus collections onto the online Tadashi Shop. I’m also going to try to remember to capture a little video from the shows I attend (see below). Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel!

  1. I thought the collection was beautiful. I love lace, so seeing all the wonderful colors had me glued to the screen when the video came up on his facebook page.

I may have drooled a little too. 🙂
