“No Pictures Please!”

The one thing you’d think would be allowed at a fashion show…pictures. Day 2 of NYFW was much  less insane for me than Day 1. I had a ton of my other work to do during the day so I just attended the 5th Anniversary of Harlem’s Fashion Row showing in the evening.

The event was held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in the breathtaking Frederick P. Rose Hall. So beautiful in fact that the room is copy written and you aren’t allowed to take any photos in the space. That fact made covering the show a bit hard but looking out of the enormous wall of windows onto the city made it all worth it.  Designers Omar Salam, Joseph Bethune, Latisha Daring, Nzinga Night and Kevin Hall all showed their collections. Sponsor Dark & Lovely tapped celeb hair stylist Keith Campbell to toss the tresses.

I had no idea what I felt like wearing but a quick flip through my closet let me to this. I’m in quite a colorful mood lately. Hmm…

Here are a few looks that I loved!
