Don’t you love how we use these sentimental words to get through this shit weather. “I’m so cozy”. Eh, let’s tell the truth. It’s freaking cold and we are wearing blankets. I’m spending this winter focusing on work big time and planning mini vacations. As much as I love NYC, I think I’d like to leave winter behind. How are you guys getting through?

What advice can you give on selecting coats and jackets? I love this lavender one, but I can never find ones that I think will work for me.

The winters where I live are incredibly mild, which throws some people for a loop as I live and Canada and when generally when people think "Canada" they think "Brrrr!!" Where I used to live was like that, but I fled that climate as soon as I could upon turning an adult.
Now I live on the coast, our average temp during the winter rarely dips below 5 degrees Celsius {41 Fahrenheit, I think} it's usually quite balmy! We almost never get snow, maybe a day to a week max, which has been plaguing me as I'm desperate for a snow shot for the blog!! hahaha!
I'm just completely smitten with this look, you pull these colours off so well! I'm terrified of light coloured jackets as I just know I'll get them dirty.
I'm also loving those shoes!! Are they just silver or silver holographic? Either way, I love 'em!
