Sometimes I “dress up” for no other reason than I feel like it. I ended up going for a quick brunch with my boyfriend in this – right after diverting a dog attack. (Side note, people who train dogs to be aggressive for whatever deviant reason are evil.)
Ahem, back to my thoughts. I think we so often save “special” pieces for “special” moments when in fact, life is short and precious and so we should wear whatever the hell we want, when we want. Yeah yeah, being appropriate for an occasion is usually a good idea but I mean if you want to go have coffee in a ball gown, toss a grey sweatshirt on top, cute sneakers and go sip that latte and stare at cute boys (or girls).
