Statement Coat

Thanksgiving is over and the holiday season is officially in full swing. So, here’s another party outfit idea!

ASOS Curve Brushed Longline Coat (on sale now + 20% off site wide), Dress: David Meister, similar (and on sale!) Python Clutch, similar Pink Pumps

You know my fall/winter fashion aesthetic is all about coats. Fun and practical. That includes my party attire. There are few things I love more than a statement coat and this faux fur brushed coat from ASOS Curve is a whole lot of wow and, an whole lot of warm.

I can’t stop wearing coats over dresses -both casual and dressy. If you’re thinking about what to wear to an upcoming events try layering a fab coat over a dress, it’s just so easy and wearable. Play with the proportions to see which coat looks best over the dress you’d like to wear. I’m sure there’s some sort of rule, but I just do what feels right and looks good to my eye. In this case, my dress is just a few inches longer than the coat and that works well for me.

Oh and yes, here’s my party face again!

  1. Fantastic. What color lipstick are you wearing? It looks like a pink or perhaps nude and I'm expanding my collection. Do tell!
