{weekend wear} Neon, Stripes and Smiles

After a week of what felt like Biblical non-stop rains, how could I not be all smiles on the first sunny day in ages? I’ve worn these neon jeans before and you might have seen them in the Redbook feature that I was included in. That look was definitely a bit more dressed up. Today, paired with a light weight sweater perfect for spring, these jeans are ready for the weekend!

Do you guys ever go into Marshalls/tj maxx? I think many plus gals leave these kind of retailers off of their shopping rounds figuring there isn’t much in the plus department and I will admit, it can be hit or miss but sometimes when you hit, you hit big!

I scored this Design History (one of the private label brands for Saks Fifth Avenue) sweater on a recent trip along with a bunch of other amazing pieces including Calvin Klein, Vince Camuto and Tahari. I’ll definitely be mixing and matching this piece a bunch.

  2. So cute! This has my name written all over it. The colors are gorgeous and so spring timey. I like how the jeans pick up the stitch in the sweater. Subtle detailing is always fun. You look so pretty and fresh. Love this look!
