{ootd} May Flowers, Before March

It’s no secret that I love prints. I’ve been coveting a printed suit since I first saw them all over the runways but more often than not, runway trends are watered down and edited to the point where they are almost unrecognizable by the time plus size retailer catch up.

Yes, most plus brands will jump on the “color of the season” and there was no shortage of plus size peplums, something universally agreeable and “flattering”. But, a printed suit in size fat? Big chicks couldn’t possibly want to wear something that the boot-cut-dark-denim-pushers wouldn’t deem flattering, could they? We do!

Thanks to Simply Be for pushing boundaries and creating pieces that put style first! Some might not like head to toe prints worn all together, and that’s perfectly ok! Mix the pants with a lavender sweater, denim shirt or black blazer. Put the jacket with solid color pants or a skirt. As for me, I really love that the option is mine. I can wear it as it was intended, and someone else can dial it down. But at least it exists for both types of gals!
