{outfit of the day} Textured Whites

Or…cream if you will. Winter white was quite a thing for this season, and looking to spring…the white trend is a keeper. It’s funny, we’re not even half way through January and the fall/winter trends already feel a little bit -who cares. Spring is already on my mind.

I’m also kind of obsessed with monochromatic dressing, another spring trend of which to look forward. A great way to make wearing only one color interesting is to mix fabrics and textures. I’ve had this Sunny Choi skirt for eons. It’s one of those timeless investment pieces that I’m so glad I purchased. There’s 18k gold thread woven into lace which really picks up nicely in the light.

I paired it with this super soft sweater from Lane Bryant’s new Lane Collection which also has gold (not real gold but still pretty darn cute!) woven into the knit as well.
