{outfit of the day} Christmas Baby

Happy birthday toooo me! *twirl*

People often think those of us born a few days before Christmas get the birthday shaft but I think we are really lucky! Everybody’s in a celebratory mood, the city is all decorated with lights, there are tons of parties to attend and you can totally pretend it’s all a giant birthday celebration! Haha

I figured this would be the perfect time for a “holiday dress” post. I love sparkle as much as the next gal but these days I much prefer a glittery top and accessories to a dress. The lovely and talented Melissa Masse sent me this incredible Ruffled Maxi Dress for my birthday and I absolutely love it!

As I looked around for what’s available online, I noticed there are a lot more plus size holiday dress options available. Finally! Longer dresses are a great option for your more formal holiday parties, charity events or a black tie holiday wedding.
