Brought to you by the letter “P”

It’s SO easy to get caught up in a routine. Though I’m free as a bird when it comes to my fashion choices, I’ve been feeling a bit like I was in a makeup rut! I’m not one for full drag. I’m quite simple really, black liquid eye liner, red lips…done.

I’ve tried to inject a bit of a different energy into my makeup routine up with a few new purple lipsticks (you’ve seen me wear them here and there on the blog) but, I wanted to do something to really shake myself up! So I went for it…smokey eyes and a pale pink lip. I used an amazing Elizabeth Arden Duo that I got in a gift bag a while back – it’s a beautiful midnight blue and a soft powdery white-like blue called Peacock.

P.s. (whispering…) I’m wearing a pink dress 🙂

Here’s what I’m wearing:

Dress – H&M+

Shoes – (similar here and here)

Necklace – FFFWeek Shopping Party (forgot the vendors name)

Bag – Lauren Merkin (get it here)

Eye Shadow – Elizabeth Arden Peacock (get it here)

Lipstick – MAC Snob (get it here)

  1. Kellie, I think you look amazing!I always love your makeup, however, and am very envious that you can carry off the red lips look so well… I love it, but can't seem to make it work (frustrating!) don't know if its a confidence thing or what, but I just can't rock it like you do!This look is gorgeous though, love everything about it.Love your blog. x

  2. OK, it's official… I have that exact same necklace… in black and gold… LOVE the smokey eye, it's less harsh than black and very daytime appropriate. Love the shoes, the fact that they are pointy toe. This outfit reminds me of the 80s, in a good way! Fabulous as usual!!

  3. You look great! I have the same dress but I haven't worn it yet because it's a little sheer, but it doesn't look sheer on you. Any advice??
