Shop & Swap Was a Blast!

I want to personally thank each and every one of you who attended Shop&Swap last night! It was an absolute blast meeting you inside of this fashion frenzy! We has about 300 guests fill Tammany Hall to shop the closets of me and my Co-hosts: Nadia Aboulhosn, Christina from Love Brown Sugar, Alissa from Stylish Curves, Nicolette Mason, Ty from Gorgeous in Grey and Gabi from Gabi Fresh.

I created Shop&Swap because in my other life (PR/Marketing), I’ve helped plan so many fun fashion events that I felt left out of. Everyone is shopping and having a great time and me and the one or 2 other bigger girls were resigned to the accessories. So this was for us! Running around pulling pieces from each and every vendor that fit…and it was AMAZING! Special thank you to the bloggers who joined me as Co-hosts and to the amazing brands who participated in the event (full list below). Special special thank you to the Lane Bryant, Simply Be USAKmart’s LYS and Madison Plus teams for helping make the event memorable!

First off, this is what I wore (yup no makeup so busy setting up I forgot!) I really love this outfit. I took an old one shoulder top I got from ASOS Curve a few years back (actually the very first thing I ever ordered from them) and turned it upside down and used the neck and arm holes to wear the top as shorts. The top is a new obsession c/o Custom Plus.

  1. Ugh, so jealous! I really wanted to be there!!! You guys should do something like this during FFFWeek next year. I would totally be there. But I think you'd need a bigger space! That place would be rammed! Looks like it was a lucrative event for the bloggers and a really fun event for the shoppers. Nice work!
