Sheer Joy

It’s February and the subways are littered with 6’2, beautiful faced, 105lb alien like creatures. In Lincoln Square and Soho everyone looks like extras from The Devil Wears Prada and, it’s nearly impossible to get a cab. Fashion Week is descending upon us! The events have already begun, shows start in a couple of days…some folks are excited, some are blaze’. I’m caught between the two.

I certainly still love the buzz, events, seeing friends from all over who come into town. Kind of over the shows. Especially when you can see everything damn near in real time from your computer. Taking clients to shows is good fun, but that’s about it.

So now that there is some “thing” to do everyday into the night. Dressing for meetings and day events without shooting back Uptown to change all of the time becomes tricky. I think that I’ve put together a few looks that will get me through some of the more chilled out days/nights. It’s part business, part party (lol sounds a bit like a mullet) but a little more cool than that (I hope!) – Here’s one.
