Montreal Part Deux

I spent the last few days running around a new city and having an absolute blast. I spoke briefly in my last post about what I’ve been up to in Montreal but I didn’t really go much into detail so here goes…

The first night I went to an amazing party called Oasis, if you’re into soulful dance music and in Montreal on a Wednesday, I definitely suggest hitting this party. Day two I took a walk from the hotel through Old Montreal which I mentioned feels like a miniature Paris then dinner. Next day…the ultimate touristy amazingness, a bus tour. I’ve never done such a thing but I have to admit, you really have to do silly tourist things at times when you visit a new place, especially a big city. 

Then – SHOPPING! I do wish I had more time to explore unfamiliar stores but shopping isn’t exactly the activity of choice for the opposite sex and though patient, I certainly didn’t want to push my luck with too many stores. I did make it to H&M and Forever 21 for random goodies.

Finally incredible Caribbean dinner with friends and many mojitos at a chill lounge. All in all, I completely could have stayed one more day. A return trip definitely in order!
