Office Style: Work For Me

Being the free spirit that I am, it’s really a challenge for me to feel like I have to wear something. Working independently as a creative professional, there’s certainly a lot more freedom in what I can wear to clients offices, meetings etc. but I can’t quite get away with ripped jeans and a blazer everywhere.

Admittedly, I don’t spend a lot of time talking about what to wear to work or the how to’s of style for 9-5 dressing. I do however have a few go to’s that make getting ready for meetings super easy. Who doesn’t love fail safe outfits? Here’s one of mine!

I love pieces that can multitask. Since I don’t spend five days a week in an office, I want my work clothes to be able to work for me…work, date, dinner, weekend even? What I love about this printed teeshirt dress is that it works as shown below for a meeting but if I just threw on flat sandals and an oversized less structured bag it’s perfect for kicking around on the weekend.

Style Tip: A few other ways to wear this dress:

1. Layer a black or white leather moto

2. An over sized denim jacket and cool boots

3. And for when the temps drop…Add black tights and layer an open chambray and knit cardi
