Balancing Act

Fashion Week is in full swing and though we are only a few days in, there’s one sentiment that echoes throughout the city…”My feet hurt!”

I personally gave up on heels at Fashion Week the first time I busted my knee about 7 years ago. But even after a day of standing in “cute flats” there is no greater joy than tossing on a pair of sneakers. Luckily, sneakers are kind of a thing right now. Balancing looking cute with being able to walk the next day without crippling pain has been a bit of a challenge for me. Glad the fashion times have caught up with my physical need for sneakers when walking/standing all day. Outside of forcing sneakers into a slightly glam look for the unexpected and “cool”, they are equally magical while kicking around in a casual weekend look.
