I generally work in pretty casual environments and there’s a lot of running around so my outfit checklists consist of polished and comfortable. I don’t think you have to forgo one for the other. It’s also important to me to show my personality in my work outfits but I still want to be professional because impromptu meetings make regular appearances in my days.
Instead of a blazer I opted for a fun (and cozy) cape-ish sweater thingie and added a crazy statement necklace that amused me and made me smile every time I caught my reflection.
