What to Wear To Work: Creative Professional

I’ve been having a lot of fun with my work outfits lately. Most of you know I don’t work in a traditional conservative office but I do run around (a lot!) and most days consist of multiple appointments in different places and trying to get dressed for different occasions and settings can be a little challenging.

The biggest thing for me is not to be over dressed for casual meetings but to be dressed up enough for the unexpected. My work vibe is generally a little bit edgy but the main objective is to look pulled together, polished and most importantly reflect my personal style. I have felt like I’ve been in a bit of a rut, reaching for a lot of blazers and denim.

Switching things up has made me a little more excited to get dressed for work. Instead of blazers, I’ve been wearing light weight car coats and swapping out denim for fun pants. Practicality does have its place in this world and I make no attempts to run around all day in heels so cool flats are my go to for days like this. These studded brogues are a few fav! Just add a bag big enough for the random things I need to bring along for the day, et voila.
