Last fall I wore the same jeans about 100 times. Not because I was fully committed to this pair but because I decided to hate every pair that I owned. I was on the hunt for a light wash boyfriend pair but didn’t find any that were slouchy enough, long enough yadda yadda.
The upside was that now, the pair that I wore so very much have become extremely tattered and look kind of amazing. They’ve transitioned themselves into a cool pair of ripped jeans. This fall I have high hopes! As I begin to wrap my brain around what I want to look like (yes, fashion is fun for me and my personal style is whatever I want it to be for a season), I’m pretty sure the bulk of what I want to wear includes denim.
I’ve already began scouring the web for what I consider cool and these three gems definitely hit the mark. Here’s what I’m loving!

1. Waxed Denim – this paired of coated denim leggings from James Jeans pull double duty for me. Yes, I love the coating but the color?! The color is everything and I must have all these emerald, forest and money green.
2. Boyfriend Jeans – Not new this season but still a definite must. Now, I did find an amazing pair at Simply Be but I also love these New Look ripped boyfriend jeans from ASOS Curve. The wash is just right and the perfectly placed rips make them a great find.
3. Printed Denim – We’ve seen the florals and polka dots but these leo print jeans from MYNT 1792 are definitely going to make their way onto my body! A truly skinny fit – I hate when plus “skinny” jeans have loose fitting ankles – these have a super sexy ankle zip. Big yes for me.
