(outfit of the day) It’s a Zoo Out There!

It’s official, unless I’m in the market for deeply discounted electronics…Black Friday is not in my foreseeable future. For the first time in a long time, I had zero interest in waking up at the crack of dawn, battling crowds or getting in a tug of war with a wild eyed woman over the last cashmere sweater marked 70% off. The salacious news coverage only solidified my thinking.

Instead, I opted to help my mom in the kitchen, run errands with my sister (which included crossing state lines to find a pair of boots that someone she knew had at Marshall’s – we actually FOUND them!) And, after bribing her with lunch…she took me to a few thrift stores close by my parents house. I scored amazingness. Details to follow.

Speaking of zoos! I’m obsessed with animal motif clothes. Yeah, yeah. Animal prints are great but, actual animals printed on your clothes is so much better! My dual giraffe sweatshirt makes me so happy!

PS -Remember my Crazy Like a Fox post about my lusty desires for foxes? ASOS Curve to the rescue with this fab fox motif tee in plus size! AND Everything I’m wearing abides by my Personal Challenge – wearing clothes I’ve owned for a while!

A Little Rhi Rhi for Me, Me!

A few months ago I saw a picture of Rhianna in a pair of Alexander Wang shorts (below) that literally left me gasping for air.

OOTD: Keeping it Neutral

I’ve been wearing a ton of black lately which quite honestly, I love because it’s easy…a few layers, mix textures…boom done! Today I’ve gotten back
