Full Figured Fashion Week – Day 2

Day 2 was bananas! I was literally too tired to come home and do a post for you, so I’m up early to share what went on.

The first half of my day was coordinating all of our filming. Early in the morning I hustled down to the Personal Style workshop moderated by the amazing Steffany Bready – who is an absolutely lovely human being! I set up a shoot for Marie Claire’s Hello Style hosted by Marcy Guevara who also appeared on the panel. The timing was extremely tight but we made it happen.

I’m wearing top c/o Lane Bryant, Evans skirt and Forever 21 necklace

Right after the workshop, I ran uptown to change clothes, dashed back out to get to the Shopping Event to coordinate a shoot with E! News – by this time things were a little chaotic so I didn’t get to snap any pics but I did make time to run to the only two open vendors and snag a dress from Curvaceous Boutique and an awesome necklace and bracelet from a jewelry vendor.

I got out of there and ran to help my other client Catherines set up shop for the networking event and then off to the Bloomingdale’s event. This was incredible!!! A packed house, Essence, InSyle and tons of other fab people like Lane Bryant team and the Simply Be teams were in the house.

And now back to District 36 for the networking event. When I came in and saw a HUGE line at the Catherines I AM photo set up. I was so excited. I’m so glad all of you loved my little idea. It was truly incredible to see everybody grabbing words like “amazing”, “beautiful”, “confident”, “sassy” holding them up proudly and taking gorgeous photos!!

Here’s the only full length photo of what I wore to the Networking event. Having a metallic moment. Yes, I’m as tired as I look…

Here’s what I’m wearing:

Pants – Avenue

Shoes – Barefoot Tess

Earrings – LA boutique can’t remember the name

  1. You always look fab Ms. Kellie and tired just means you're a hard working woman! I'm saving as we speak so that I can do next year's event – I'm sick that I couldn't make it this year. Everything looks wonderful!

  2. That top looks SENSATIONAL on you!

Just discovering your blog (how could I have missed this?!)and am commenting all over the damn place.
