For the first time in a really long time, I’ve been in a fashion rut. Granted, a global pandemic which trapped us all in the house isn’t the most inspiring time but it’s a little more than that. Not much has been speaking to me, calling me name and making me want to empty my pockets.
Given the whole, will life ever go back to normal and maybe we should be fiscally responsible thing, this Memorial Day weekend there are a lot of sales that I’m avoiding.
While I’ve was thrilled to see clothes to a size 3x when the plus size expansion was made, there were so many “fashion” pieces that thin friends would get that I really coveted.
Though I live near many a beach and have traveled pretty extensively (pre Covid) this caftan just became the one I reached for just to putter around the house. It’s bright and cheery but also a total mumu and so you’re basically naked but can answer the door for UPS without violating anyone, ha!
Last spring when I moved to LA, my travel schedule was set for the next few months.
